Mobile Notary Services in Charlotte, NC
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A mobile notary travels to you — your home, office, hospital room, or another location — instead of you traveling to them. The notarial act itself is the same under North Carolina law; only the location changes. That convenience matters most for time-sensitive signings, closings, and situations where the signer can’t easily travel.

Bring a current, acceptable form of identification and your document. Please do not sign the document beforehand unless instructed to do so. Every signer must be present at the appointment, and documents should be complete with no blank spaces. If you have questions about acceptable identification, contact me before your appointment.

North Carolina law sets maximum fees for notarial acts, and a separate travel fee may apply for mobile service based on distance and scheduling. Because travel fees vary by location and appointment type, submit a service request for an exact quote before booking — there’s no obligation, and you’ll know the total cost upfront.

Use the Request Service form to share what you need notarized, your preferred location, and your timing. We’ll follow up to confirm the details and get an appointment on the calendar, including same-week availability when your situation is time-sensitive.
